My family had a gazebo when I was growing up that had plexiglass windows. Once everything steamed up inside from the hot tub, you couldn't see out of the glass. Really made you feel isolated. These tempered glass windows are perfect. Strong, durable and best of all they do not fog like the ones my parents had.
We live in upstate NY and the ice storms can be quite a problem. However, with the tempered glass on our Gazebo, they never frost or freeze. Then in the summer we can leave the windows open with the screens in and have zero concerns about bugs.
With the outside dropping below freezing, I used to be nervous about heating up my sauna and then having the windows crack. Tempered glass prevents this from being a concern anymore.
I live up north and the snow we get is all wet and heavy. These brackets gave me an added sense of security, that the roof wouldn’t collapse on me. Also I couldn’t imagine having these windows open without screens. At night the bugs can get so bad because I have lights hung up all around inside my gazebo, but these screens keep them all out.
